Dear colleagues:

In response to Dr. Lee's request, as chair of the CIVE Computer Lab Committee, I am pleased to submit the following list of computer equipment for rooms PS231-C and D:

  1. Six (6) Windows workstations, 1 GB of dynamic memory, 160 GB of disk storage, DVD-ROM, including flat-screen monitors, $2950 per each workstation, for a total of $17,700. [In the event of limited funds, this request can be bundled into two parts, each for $8,850 for three workstations, and prioritized accordingly].

These computers will be used by civil and environmental engineering undergraduate and graduate students in the planned expansion of the CIV E Computer Lab to rooms PS231 C and D.
