  1. Derive the Penman equation (Eq. 2-36 in the book).

  2. Calculate the evaporation rate of the reference crop by the Penman-Monteith method for the following atmospheric conditions:

    Air temperature Ta = 20 oC;

    Net radiation Qn = 585 cal/cm2/d;

    Wind speed v2 = 175 km/d;

    Relative humidity RH = 85%.

    Atmospheric pressure = sea level.
